BANGKOK – Thai military said Friday they had found and defused 6 potentially explosve inclination in the collateral Bangkok, days after the supervision called for heightened commitment over the New Year period.
A male was arrested on guess of planting the inclination outward a bank, on an overpass and at a highway intersection in the city’s eastern suburbs.
“So distant 6 bombs were found at 3 locations,” Major General Wichai Sungprapai, civil area commander, told AFP.
It was not immediately transparent what form of inclination they were. The authorities said the find followed a military investigation.
Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Wednesday urged authorities to be on warning after military said they were boosting confidence at tip traveller spots and sell areas in the collateral during New Year celebrations.
Police have said areas such as the Central World selling centre, where a countdown eventuality will be held, and the Khao San Road backpacker district were put on high warning after an deficient explosve was found in the city final week.
Authorities have not specified what organisation they trust to be behind the threat.
